Goblet of fire is a flop - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Reviews

I am an avid harry potter fan and have read and reread the books. I can see how someone that doens't read the books would have thought this movie was good and entertaining, but many fans would agree, it stunk. The movie did not follow the actual storyline of the book at all. Truthfully, they butchered the story and perhaps even ruined other movies to come in the process. This movie gave me the impression that they ran out of time and just put togethor everything they already had filmed. I am very disappointed, as I and many other Harry Potter fans would have sat through a 5+ hour movie just to see the story done justice. At least split the 4th book in half and do 2 movies if its impossible to actually follow the story. Things that I would have wanted to see done in the movie that were not in the book, like perhaps a more in depth showing of the tasks were not done, and instead there were other stupid little made up parts everywhere. I think the team that made this movie has let down the fan base. Compared to the first 3 movies, which pretty closely followed the books I was utterly disappointed. As a user mentioned before me they left out 2 crucial characters. Instead this movie was just made into a bunch of little scenes designed to provoke laughter. I cannot express how disappointed I am. Frankly, if the next movie is like this, I am going to think twice before going.
