Outstanding!!! - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Reviews
Wonderful from start to finish!
Ignore the reviews that people are leaving that tell you that if you are a "true fan" of the books, you will hate this movie.
Because they are...as the spell goes, REDICULOUS!
Of course some things were left out.
Of course some things were changed.
It was critical for these things to be done in order to keep the movie under 3 hours.
But what nobody is telling you, is that there are so many spectacular things that were ADDED to the story.
So many great jokes that will keep you laughing up until the dramatic ending.
The acting was superb.
Daniel Radcliffe, as Harry Potter, portrayed all of the emotion that i felt when reading the death of Cedric Diggory.
Jeff Rawle, as Amos Diggory, completely triumphed in his portrayal of a father who has just had his pride and joy ripped away from him.
Brendan Gleeson, as MadEye Moody, completely surprised me!
He was absolutely remarkable and extremely entertaining to watch!
And the best, most anticipated scene of all, was the return of Lord Voldemort.
When I heard that Ralph Fiennes would be taking on the role, I knew he would make it everything that I imagined.
He was brilliant.
The special effects were also amazing, of course.
The only complaint I have, although I believe Michael Gambon to be an excellent actor, is the portrayal of Dumbledore.
He had the passion, charisma, and dedication, but he lacked the gentle ways of the Dumbledore we have grown to love.
To sum it all up for you, it was a spectacular film rendition of the amazing tale of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
