Tired of book fan complaints - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Reviews

This latest movie does justice to Rowling's work. Sure, as a huge fan of the books it would have been nice to see more of the subplots, but what can you do in a 2 1/2 hour film? It was good, but not great. Ralph Fiennes is more terrifying as Voldemort than I could ever imagine. Now to the main point. For all the book fans who are expecting literal devotion to the novel, forget it. Don't even think about it. You just cannot compare the two. They are different formats with different capabilities. If your only complaint is that there are major descrepancies or cutting of storylines, then write a review somewhere else. The movies will NEVER capture the total spirit of the books. Get over it.
