Harry potter book fans beware!!!! - Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Reviews

This movie was the biggest disappointment!!! The director should be ashamed of himself?did even read the book!!!!!! I am a self admitted Harry Potter dork, so when I heard the movie would be out in November, I was really excited; I got my tickets 3 weeks in advance, my group and I were the first in line 3 hours before the start of the show. The movie started and I realized they messed up the FIRST scene!!!! It only got worse from there?the only part that they managed to get semi-correct was the scene with Lord Voldemort, and even that was botched. The movie left out so many aspects that will be important to the subsequent movies, and by leaving out these details, the next directors, screenwriters, and producers are going to have a very hard time trying to catch the audience up (Unless they make the next movies just as horrifically bad, which I suspect they will do). They production company should have just made the movie longer to include the important parts. Why not extend the movie and make it good; people sat through Titanic, and the Lord Of The Rings series, I think we could?ve sat through a longer, better Harry Potter movie. Now, I understand that a little of the story must be cut due to the time factor, however what I do not understand is why they would mutilate a book in this fashion. I agree that there were some parts of the book that could have be omitted for the sake of the movie (ie: Hermoine and S.P.E.W), but not to even include Sirius?are you bloody mad?????? Make Dumbledore out to a freakin' lunatic???? Omit characters completely???? Good luck to the next director. The only thing I can hope for is a re-make of this movie later down the road. There were just too many things that were wrong in this movie to even go through one by one!!!!!!!
